LA Girl’s PRO.face Matte Pressed Powder: Warm Caramel Shade REVIEW

I have been eyeing on the LA Girl’s Pro Face Matte Pressed Powder for too long and finally I had the chance to purchase it. Yay! I was reluctant to purchase it online because I was afraid that the shade will not suit my skin and my skin would turn gray and ashy. Why I decided to purchase La Girl’s pressed powder is because it has wide range of shades for most of the skin tones especially for caramel skinned babes who have such a hard time looking for the caramel shaded pressed powders in a reasonable price. Its so hard to find darker shades of foundation or pressed powder in drug stores. In the end, I usually end up purchasing high end brands which a super expensive for me as a student. Secondly, it has matte finish, thus your skin doesn’t turn too greasy at the end of the day!  I am a medical student who stays in the hospital for my classes from morning till evening and its usually super warm all the time. Thus, my skin wouldn’t turn greasy at the end of the day. It also doesn’t turn patchy when my face sweats. Thirdly, it covers the flaw like my dark under eyes, pores and evens out my skin tone! So, if you are the person who hates foundation or you’re kinda lazy to apply foundation everyday, this pressed powder is definitely your choice. Its perfect to set your foundation as well! I totally love it!

So, I purchased my LA Girl’s Pro Face Matte Pressed Powder in the shade of warm caramel.  It suited my skin pretty well and I am super satisfied! I purchased it directly from LA Girl’s one and only showroom in Malaysia at RM40.50 (after discount of 10%). Sale is ongoing now on their website as well as showroom. So, grab em’ now. The normal price is RM45.

BUT, I wish they had all the shades from LA Girl USA. Not all the shades are available in the Malaysia’s website which is sad because we definitely need all the shades so that everybody can get the shade suitable for their skin. Especially, those with caramel skin. There are 15 shades in the US website while only 11 shades are available in Malaysia. The essential caramel shades are not available which is super sad.

Here is the product description from LA Girl Malaysia’s website:

Get a flawless finish with PRO.Face Matte Pressed Powder. Helps cover imperfections with a long wearing, oil controlling formula. Buildable coverage can be applied alone for a soft, radiant look or over liquid foundation for fuller coverage. The sleek compact is color matched and includes a mirror and high quality sponge.

Packaging: Box is chic! The container is made of plastic and has separate compartment for the pressed powder and the sponge which is great because it prevents the powder for getting wasted by excessively sticking to the sponge during the storage. Overall, the container looks cool and make me wanna get them.

Longevity: It lasts the whole day from morning till evening. Doesn’t get patchy when my face sweats. Great during warm weather.

Finish: Matte. Covers flaws and evens skin tone.

Skin Type: Suitable for all skin type (dry, oily and mix of both). Does not dry the skin and has oil controlling properties!

Touch-up: The touching up was smooth and didn’t get uneven which is great. And at times, I don’t even touch up because it really does last the whole day.

Removal: Easy to remove with a good makeup remover.

Fragrances: Not scented

Above are the pictures of before and after the application of L.A PRO.face Pressed Powder on my bare face. It evens out my skin tone and covers my flaws.
