Hello, pretty ladies! I’m back with yet another review and this time, its skincare! Today, I’m gonna be reviewing this face wash I recently got from Japan. It’s from Kose. If you guys haven’t heard of this brand before, well, it’s a Japanese skincare brand and it is also available in Malaysia. I was just looking for a face wash during that time, so, I decided I would give this brand a try. In Malaysia, you can get it from Aeon Malls and Isetan.
Product details: This face wash is the foam type. I have a combination skin. My skin can be both oily and dry. Thus, I always use the foam type to help clear the thin layer of oil that often forms on my skin. You can go for the gel type face wash if you have really dry skin. Its helps in maintaining the moisture of your skin. I can’t read the ingredients because it was all written in Japanese and the product is made in Japan.
Packaging: All Kose products either have blue or white packaging. This is an upside-down tube type and it was pretty easy to squeeze. Thus, you can easily squeeze the amount you would like to apply to your face without wastage.
Impressions: I squeezed a bit of the product on my palm and added a few drops of water and started massaging my palm with one finger. The consistency was quite thin and it was not so foamy. However, when I continued to do so for awhile by adding more water thick foam started to foam on my hand and I applied it straight away to my face continued to lather it. There was a really thick foam on all over my face and I continued to massage it all over my face and neck. Basically, is it super thick. Then, I washed it off easily. It wasn’t all hard to wash off and slippery at all.
What I didn’t like about this product: Well, this face wash is great, but it kinda dries off my skin. As I mentioned above, my skin is a combination of both dry and oily skin. It is great in removing the oil but it is super drying. So, if you have a really dry skin, I won’t recommend this face wash. Its gonna turn your skin super dry and flaky. But, If you have the super duper oily skin, then this is the right one for you but make sure to moisturize your face after that.
Well, my final verdict is nope. I will not go for this product again. But, as I mentioned again, I think this face wash would be holy grail for babes with super oily skin. What is your favourite face wash so far? Let me know in the comments below.
